1. User Responsibilities & Eligibility

1.1. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

1.2. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times.

1.3. You are fully responsible for all activity performed under your account.

1.4. You confirm that:

• all personal data you submit is true and belongs to you,
• you are authorized to act on behalf of any club, venue, or organization you manage on the platform,
• you have lawful rights to create, edit, or manage bookings for any venue you represent.

1.5. Any misuse, falsification, impersonation, or unauthorized access may result in immediate account suspension or deletion without notice.

2. Venue & Booking Management

2.1. If you manage or edit a venue profile, schedules, or booking settings, you affirm that:

• you are legally authorized by the venue owner/operator,
• all data you enter (pricing, availability, rules, contact details, etc.) is accurate,
• 2ndCourt bears no responsibility for the correctness of venue information.

2.2. Users are solely responsible for:

• ensuring the accuracy of bookings,
• adhering to booking rules set by the venue,
• cancellations, refunds, or disputes related to venue access.

2.3. 2ndCourt does not verify the identity, ownership, or authority of venue administrators.
All liability related to unauthorized edits or misuse lies solely with the user(s) involved.

3. Competitions, Results & Player-submitted Data

3.1. All match results must be submitted truthfully and in good faith.

3.2. By submitting results, you confirm that:

• the match actually took place,
• the reported results are correct,
• you have consent of all involved players to publish results, photos, or statistics.

3.3. 2ndCourt is not responsible for incorrect results, disputes between players, or ranking changes caused by user-submitted data.

3.4. Any manipulation of results, statistics, or rankings may lead to temporary or permanent account suspension.

4. User Content & License

4.1. All content submitted by users (results, photos, venue data, schedules, descriptions, messages, etc.) remains the responsibility of the user.

4.2. You grant 2ndCourt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, process, and use your content for the functioning of the platform.

4.3. You confirm that you have all required rights (copyright, permissions, licenses) for any content you upload.

4.4. 2ndCourt is not liable for:

• inaccuracies in user-generated content,
• unauthorized use of photos/data submitted by users,
• disputes between users or between users and venues.

5. Platform Availability & Technical Limitations

5.1. 2ndCourt strives for continuous availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or data accuracy.

5.2. We are not responsible for:

• failed or missed bookings due to user error,
• server downtime, maintenance, or technical issues,
• outages of third-party services (AWS, email providers, payment systems),
• data loss caused by hardware or software failure.

6. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

6.1. 2ndCourt is not liable for:

• injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during matches, events, or on physical venues,
• property damage, theft, or disputes between users,
• financial losses caused by inaccurate information, bookings, or match results,
• unauthorized access to your account resulting from weak passwords or device misuse.

6.2. All physical activities arranged through the platform are undertaken at your own risk.

6.3. 2ndCourt does not mediate disputes between users, clubs, or venues.

7. User Conduct

Users must not:

• harass, threaten, or harm other users,
• submit false or misleading data,
• attempt to breach or bypass security measures,
• access or attempt to access data or venues without authorization.

Violation may result in account termination.

8. Privacy & Data Processing

8.1. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (separate document).

8.2. By using the platform, you consent to processing of your data for:

• account creation,
• authentication and security,
• bookings and match management,
• notifications and emails.

8.3. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

9. External Services & Integrations

2ndCourt uses third-party services (AWS, Brevo, authentication providers, email systems).

We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data breaches originating from third-party systems.

10. Modification Of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, especially in cases of:

• fraud,
• misuse
• violations of these Terms,
• legal or safety concerns.
